Client Challenge:
The apartment was operating on an original, outdated electrical panel that posed a significant safety risk.
The old fuse box contained resistive fuses and had been modified over the years, failing to meet modern protection standards. Furthermore, the configuration was insufficient for the client's increased power consumption needs, and a faulty lighting circuit was non-functional.
Our Solution & Process:
We performed a complete safety overhaul. Our certified electricians first decommissioned and safely removed the old, non-compliant panel.
We then installed a new, larger enclosure equipped with a modern Schneider Acti9 distribution board. The new configuration features advanced circuit breakers with residual current protection (RCBOs), designed to provide superior protection against overloads, short circuits, and electric shock.
The system was specifically engineered and sized to safely handle anticipated power consumption demands for 2025 and beyond.
During the process, we also successfully diagnosed and repaired a dormant lighting circuit, restoring full functionality to the apartment's lighting system.
